Guesswork
Goalkeepers Are The Most
Under-Measured Athletes in Soccer
"Coaches watch. Parents hope.
Clubs guess.
Nobody actually measures."
  • Performance evaluation relies on coach perception, not objective data — creating selection bias and wasted potential
  • Developing athletes have no portable, verified performance record that follows them through trials, academies, and recruitment
  • Training repetitions go untracked — no baseline, no benchmarks, no measurable progression over time
  • Investment in private coaching, camps, and equipment produces no quantifiable ROI for families
  • High-frequency, time-compressed development windows demand precision — but conventional tools deliver only gut feel
Why KeeperLab
Exists

"To deliver precision biomechanics and verified performance data to every goalkeeper who earns it — because goalkeepers are the most scrutinized athletes on the field and the least measured, and that gap ends here."

Vision

To make the verified goalkeeper performance profile the universal standard for athlete development and recruitment — from youth academies to MLS NEXT to professional clubs worldwide — so that a goalkeeper's Digital Locker card carries more weight than any highlight reel.

The Gap We Close

KeeperLab envisions a soccer ecosystem where session-to-session progression is tracked, biomechanical deficits are pinpointed, and every metric is instrumented and reproducible — not estimated and subjective. The Digital Locker is not a feature. It is the product: a verified performance identity the athlete owns, controls, and shares directly with scouts, college coaches, and club evaluators.

KeeperLab was built because of a father watching his son train with elite coaches at Sockers FC — one of the top MLS NEXT academies in the country — who could not produce a single verifiable number to show a scout. That gap, between what coaches know and what they can prove, between the work athletes put in and the record they carry out, is the problem KeeperLab was built to close.

The platform is a subsidiary of Elliott Strategic Advisors, grounded in the same commitment to precision, accountability, and credibility that defines everything ESA builds. When KeeperLab says a keeper's reaction latency is 0.285 seconds, that number means something. A scout can argue with a coach's opinion. Nobody argues with 0.285 seconds.

Six KPIs That Define
Elite Goalkeeping

KeeperLab's instrumentation platform captures the six biomechanical dimensions that quantitatively separate elite goalkeepers from developing athletes.

01
Reaction Latency
Time from visual stimulus onset to first motor response, filtered via Butterworth signal processing to eliminate noise. The foundational elite discriminator.
Measured in milliseconds
02
Diving Velocity
3D vector magnitude of lateral explosion — horizontal, vertical, and lateral components combined into a single validated speed metric.
Measured in m/s
03
Launch Force
Impulse-momentum theorem applied to ground reaction force integration. Captures the explosive spring power at dive initiation.
Measured in Newtons × seconds
04
Positioning Grade
Angular error relative to the optimal scoring triangle vertex — a geometry-based precision score quantifying set position efficiency on every rep.
Graded A–F per rep
05
Distribution Power
Kinetic energy transfer during distribution strikes — foot-to-ball contact mechanics translated into velocity and directional accuracy metrics.
Measured in joules
06
Recovery Time
Time from maximum dive extension back to optimal set position readiness — a critical but chronically unmeasured dimension of high-repetition performance.
Measured in seconds
The Five Principles
Behind Every Metric
01
Every Goalkeeper Deserves a Number
Elite data tools have been locked behind elite institutions for too long. KeeperLab democratizes biomechanical measurement, bringing professional-grade analysis to youth development, amateur clubs, and underserved markets.
02
Measurement Over Opinion
Reaction latency, diving velocity, launch force, positioning grade. These are derived, not estimated. KeeperLab produces certified data that can stand in front of a parent, a director, or a college recruiter and hold up under scrutiny.
03
The Athlete Owns Their Record
The Digital Locker is a portable, verified performance profile that belongs to the athlete, not the club. It travels with them through every transition — protecting their development history and amplifying their opportunities.
04
Coach Credibility, Amplified
KeeperLab does not replace the coaching eye. It gives it a voice that scouts and parents cannot argue with. When a coach's athletes carry verified data, the coach's methodology travels with them.
05
Nuclear-Grade Rigor
The same rigor used to certify nuclear reactor operators is applied to goalkeeper performance measurement. Every metric is machine-generated, timestamped, and defensible. Nobody argues with 0.285 seconds.

The ESA Standard

KeeperLab is a subsidiary of Elliott Strategic Advisors — founded by a Nuclear Submarine Officer and 13-year NRC Resident Inspector. The zero-failure methodology that governs reactor certification governs every KeeperLab measurement. Precision is not a philosophy for special occasions. It is the operating standard.

Your Verified
Performance
Passport

Every KeeperLab session builds a tamper-proof, portable performance record that travels with the athlete — from private training to academy trials to recruitment evaluation.

  • Verified biomechanical baseline established at first session
  • Longitudinal tracking shows measurable progression over time
  • Share with coaches, scouts, and academies — no more guessing
  • Replaces subjective tryout evaluation with objective performance evidence
  • Stays with the athlete across clubs, regions, and development stages

Development Environments

KeeperLab targets competitive youth and pre-professional goalkeepers (ages 12–22) operating inside structured, high-stakes training systems — where performance differentiation, measurable improvement, and pathway advancement to college or pro are primary objectives.

Athletes & Parents
Serious goalkeepers training 3–6 sessions per week who face time-compressed development windows where marginal gains directly impact selection, rostering, and recruitment. Parents investing in specialized training deserve quantifiable ROI — not another coach's opinion.
Primary Beachhead
📋
Coaches & Private Trainers
Private GK coaches and specialists who want to standardize instruction across athletes, demonstrate verifiable client progress, and differentiate services within a market where subjective coaching is the norm and objective data is the premium.
Key Multiplier
🏟️
MLS NEXT · ECNL · Elite Clubs
Academy directors and club programs seeking to upgrade talent identification, reduce evaluation subjectivity, and offer differentiated training infrastructure. KeeperLab integrates into existing structures as a precision add-on — no facility changes required.

The Beachhead Segment
KeeperLab Is Built For

Our initial beachhead is serious, repetition-heavy goalkeepers and their decision-makers — parents, private GK coaches, and academy directors — who demonstrate all four of the following:

  • High training frequency — 3 to 6 dedicated sessions per week with structured repetition focus
  • Demonstrated willingness to invest in specialized training, equipment, and exposure opportunities
  • Acute need for objective performance data to validate development and reduce evaluation subjectivity at trials and tryouts
  • Time-compressed development windows where marginal gains materially impact selection, rostering, and college or professional recruitment outcomes

Why This Segment Wins

High lifetime value. Strong referral networks within club ecosystems. Outcome-driven purchasing behavior. Purpose-built for pilot-to-scale adoption via trusted training relationships.

KeeperLab Transforms Evaluation Into a System:

Athletes
Track and accelerate development with objective, session-over-session biomechanical data — not a coach's memory.
Coaches
Standardize instruction across athletes and differentiate services with verified, repeatable performance metrics.
Parents
Justify and optimize training investment with quantifiable ROI evidence that survives any tryout conversation.
Academies
Improve talent identification efficiency and reduce selection subjectivity at MLS NEXT, ECNL, and elite club level.
